📢 Mina Incentivized Testnet Announcement 🚀
Attention Mina community! Announcing Mina’s Incentivized Testnet - Testworld Mission 2.0! This is an incredible opportunity for validators, zkApp developers, and users to actively participate in testing the Mina blockchain before the upcoming Hard Fork. It is a crucial step towards bringing programmable ZK proofs to mainnet with zkApps!
The primary objectives of Testworld Mission 2.0 are as follows:
⛓ Battle test the network under all conditions
🛠 Ensure SnarkyJS and code related to zkApps work as intended.
To achieve these objectives, Testworld Mission 2.0 will feature four different tracks:
1️⃣ zkApp End-to-End (E2E) Testing
We are delighted to share that this track has already been successfully completed. A heartfelt thanks to all the zkApp developers who contributed their expertise to make this milestone possible. Track 1 focused on developing zkApps that encompassed 9 specific surface areas, such as recursion, smart contract deployment, and call stack composability.
2️⃣ External Security Auditing
Tracks 2 is currently in progress, with auditors already identified. Their valuable insights and contributions will significantly enhance the overall security and robustness of the Mina ecosystem.
3️⃣ Protocol & Performance Testing
We understand the importance of a smooth onboarding process for node operators. We are thrilled to announce that Mina's Protocol and Performance Testing is set to launch soon and will continue for approximately 2 months. This track focuses on providing the necessary resources to ensure their effective participation in Testworld Mission 2.0.
4️⃣ Preparation for the Hard Fork
As we move closer to the Hard Fork, we will soon commence this track, which involves essential preparations to ensure a seamless transition.
